The winners of the Concours Corneille meet the heritage and public of Normandy

Discover the treasures of Normandy’s heritage by sharing some of the finest pages of Baroque music, while promoting the professional integration of young artists. That’s the aim of this initiative by Le Poème Harmonique.

Candidates for the Concours Corneille – Concours international de chant baroque de Normandie are among the best hopefuls of international baroque singing. Every two years, more than a hundred applications arrive from all over the world. The young singers selected come to Rouen at the end of September to compete in the Chapelle Corneille in front of an international jury of leading classical music professionals, artists and programmers.

At a time when the integration of artists is a major issue, the Nouvelles Voix en Normandie tour gives those at the dawn of a professional career the chance to perform as well as compete.

From now on, the winners of the Concours Corneille 2025 will be touring the treasures of Normandy’s heritage, far from the usual broadcasting networks, bringing the emotion of baroque music to everyone in unique places and inviting Normands to rediscover an exceptional heritage that is never far away.
